How many words and pictures should I put on a page?

For the best readability of any web-site, a page should be as clear and precise as possible. A web page is most effective with up to 200 words and 4 graphics, any more and the design becomes visually overloaded.
We recommend trying to limit your page content to these rough guidelines. With the Blog layout it is easy to provide a lead-in page which has the main article and précis of the  other pages. You can also do a page like this FAQ page where a single article is split in to sub-pages but automatically linked via the Article Index at the top right.
